2026 LIA South Sudan Medical Trip

This trip is focused on developing relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun working alongside LIA’s network of medical staff and community leaders, in addition to members of a short-term team. Participants will gain an understanding of LIA’s unique empowerment model while serving LIA’s medical outreach partner in basic medical screening and specialty case identification. The team will have a multi-faceted experience, discovering various cultural and social aspects of South Sudan and how they impact the outreach of the local church, while learning more about LIA’s pioneering work in some of the most unreached and overlooked places in the world. The goal of this trip is to increase awareness about how church partnerships support LIA, becoming advocates and friends, and for participants to discover how God would like to use them around the world while they bring their medical expertise to a very intense setting.
