Flatirons is sending a team to Afghanistan to work with the community initiative in Barek Aub.
Flatirons is sending a team through our partner Sozo International to work with their community development initiatives in the village of Barek Aub, a community which Sozo has been supporting for over a decade. The purpose of the trip is to 1) gain understanding about who Sozo is, what they do, and why they do it, and 2) to celebrate the community of Barek Aub by hosting a “field day” for the children and 3) continue in Sozo’s relationship development initiatives to bring hope and encouragement to those they serve. Participants should enjoy children, be energetic, relational, enjoy teamwork and those of various cultures and backgrounds.
