2023 Musana Medical Team

This trip is focused on developing relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun working alongside Musana’s medical staff and community leaders, in addition to members of a short-term team. Participants will gain an understanding of Musana’s unique community empowerment and sustainability model while experiencing the beauty of Ugandan hospitality and culture. While participants will bring their medical expertise to a cross-cultural setting, emphasis is placed on empowering and encouraging local leaders in their knowledge and provision of care and supporting Musana in their work in the local community. Participants have an opportunity to begin to discover how God would like to use them around the world and how they might bring lessons from international medicine to their practice at home, all while becoming Musana’s advocates and friends.
