You are registering for the Wilderness father and son retreat! Here are the details to know...

• Dates: Thursday, July 11th - Saturday, July 13th 2024
• Location: Maranatha Bible Camp (Maxwell, Nebraska - roughly 3.5 hour drive)
• Who: Fathers, sons (ages 6 years old - 17 years old)
• Why: Join us for a purposeful bonding experience, dedicated to fostering intentional connections and nurturing a deep sense of identity in Christ for fathers and sons. Our hope is to empower fathers to infuse life and significance into their relationships with their sons, while instilling the principles of biblical masculinity. Together, we'll embark on a journey of fun, fostering deeper bonds and nurturing meaningful relationships. We believe this retreat will serve as a landmark moment in the trajectory of your son's faith and your relationship together, shaping a future filled with intentional connection and spiritual growth.
• What To Expect: Your registration will include the camp stay, meals, snacks, activities (ski boat, fishing, archery, zip lining, water activities including - paddle boards, 3-story slide, blob, kayaking, canoeing, swimming pool, climbing walls, axe throwing, wagon rides, ping pong, gym for basketball and roller skating, spa and you can top off the night with a large campfire and s'mores. There will be some time of teaching, equipping and lots of fun! 
• Transportation: The weekend will actually begin when you depart for camp. We will be giving you a "road map" with intentional conversation starters to break the ice relationally and to prep hearts for the camp time together. You are welcome to carpool or caravan if you want, but this will also be a great time of connection if you choose to go alone. You are responsible for your own vehicle to drive and the needed fuel it will take to travel there and back.
• Accommodations: There are 3 options for your choice of accommodations. The basic option is the CABIN which is $215 per person. This is a shared sleeping arrangement with a detached bathroom. You will be responsible to providing your own bedding. The middle option is the DORM which is $225 per person. This is another shared option for sleeping with attached bathrooms and a living space. You will be responsible to providing your own bedding. The final option is the MOTEL style which is $250 per person. This is a private room sleeping 3-5 people with a private attached bathroom. The bedding is also provided for this option. Further in this registration you will have the option to choose which style/price of accommodations you prefer. 
• Cost: $215 per person (Cabin: $215, Dorm: $225, Motel: $250)
• Requirements: 1.) Due to the nature of shared accommodations we will be running a background check on anyone 18 years of age or older. We are specifically looking for any crimes associated with abuse or with children. If you would like to talk about this, please reach out and we can discuss your unique situation. 2.) We will be requiring you to sign a liability waiver upon arrival releasing Flatirons Community Church from holding any liability for you or your son during this time at camp. If you are not willing to do that, please reach out before registering.
