Missions

This trip is an opportunity to develop relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun with James and Erin Henderson, Ashrei’s leaders, as well as the spiritual community they integrate with and support. The team will have a multi-faceted experience, discovering various cultural and social aspects of Mexico City while learning more about Ashrei and their work in the intersections between spiritual formation and community action.

This trip is focused on developing relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun working alongside Musana’s staff, students, and community leaders, in addition to members of a short-term team. Participants will gain an understanding of Musana’s unique community empowerment and sustainability model while experiencing the beauty of Ugandan hospitality and culture. While participants will bring their expertise to a cross-cultural setting, emphasis is placed on empowering and encouraging students and local leaders and supporting Musana in their work in the local community. Participants have an opportunity to begin to discover how God would like to use them around the world and how they might bring lessons from this experience to their vocations at home, all while becoming Musana’s advocates and friends.

This trip will provide an opportunity for you to engage with your sponsored child and experience OneChild’s community transformation model in practice. Participants will gain insight into what God is doing around the world and begin to discover how they might bring lessons from this experience to reframe their lives back home.

In an effort to both develop relationships with staff and have eyes on the best ways to recruit/equip and prepare short-term teams, we’re taking a vision trip this August. This trip will be a chance for us to have a high-level overview of LIA’s work, meet staff, and have conversations around what future short-term teams could look like – including a youth empowerment idea, medical teams, come and see teams, and more!

The goal of this trip is to increase awareness about how church partnerships support Musana, becoming advocates and friends, and for participants to discover how God would like to use them around the world.

This trip is an opportunity for volunteer leaders and/or staff within Flatirons Young Adults Ministry to support Globalscope’s Maastricht Team in community, developing relationships with Globalscope staff and the students they serve on the campus of Maastricht University. The team will have an opportunity to use hands on discipleship tools in a practical setting, while learning about Globalscope’s discipleship model and gain insight into the nuances of ministry in post-Christian Europe. Participants should come with a heart for discipleship, both to offer and to receive. This team will encourage, challenge, learn, teach, and have fun together, while looking at the role all believers play on a global scale.

While participants will bring their medical expertise to a cross-cultural setting, emphasis is placed on empowering and encouraging local leaders in their knowledge and provision of care and supporting Musana in their work in the local community. Participants have an opportunity to begin to discover how God would like to use them around the world and how they might bring lessons from international medicine to their practice at home, all while becoming Musana’s advocates and friends.

The team will have a multi-faceted experience, discovering various cultural and social aspects of Serbia and how they impact the outreach of the local church, all while learning more about Uncharted’s pioneering work in some of the most unreached and overlooked places in the world. The goal of this trip is to increase awareness about how church partnerships support Uncharted, becoming advocates and friends, and for participants to discover how God would like to use them around the world.

This trip is focused on developing relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun working alongside LIA’s network of medical staff and community leaders, in addition to members of a short-term team. Participants will gain an understanding of LIA’s unique empowerment model while serving LIA’s medical outreach partner in basic medical screening and specialty case identification. The team will have a multi-faceted experience, discovering various cultural and social aspects of South Sudan and how they impact the outreach of the local church, while learning more about LIA’s pioneering work in some of the most unreached and overlooked places in the world. The goal of this trip is to increase awareness about how church partnerships support LIA, becoming advocates and friends, and for participants to discover how God would like to use them around the world while they bring their medical expertise to a very intense setting.

This trip is an opportunity for women from Flatirons to develop relationships of encouragement, learning, curiosity, and fun with one another and with Musana’s staff and students at Musana’s empowerment center! Participants will gain an understanding of Musana’s unique sustainability model and will experience the beauty and joy of Ugandan hospitality. The goal of this trip is to increase awareness about how church partnerships support Musana, becoming advocates and friends, and for participants to discover how God would like to use them around the world.

Participants have an opportunity to begin to discover how God would like to use them around the world and how they might bring lessons from international medicine to their practice at home, all while becoming Musana’s advocates and friends.
