2026 Eden Church Planting Trip

This team will serve the staff and volunteer teams at Eden Church, located in Hackensack, NJ and will receive insight into the structure, challenges and weekly rhythms of church plants, working to support Eden’s staff and volunteers with practical knowledge, expertise in Production and Kids Ministries, as well as other facets of discipleship and engagement, and celebrate together all that God has done in the life of Eden. This team should prepare for several touchpoints with Eden’s staff and volunteer teams to train on specific topics, share experiences and learned lessons in ministry, prayer walking, run a mock service setup and debrief, and have fun together! Participants have an opportunity to begin to discover how God would like to use them to serve the Kingdom outside Flatirons walls and the impact that may have on their spiritual formation once they return home.

This is not a typical missions trip where participants roll up their sleeves to do the hard work for others. Your role is a learner, an ambassador and an encourager.

This trip is designed for those who want to build relationships and see what happens when others are empowered to do things for themselves. It is an opportunity to travel to Uganda with a team to experience Musana’s model firsthand and see how Musana is empowering communities to thrive! Participants will visit Musana’s schools, hospitals, and economic development projects to learn, observe and encourage local change-makers. The goal of this trip is to come alongside Musana’s educational staff in planning and executing a VBS experience for students, while becoming advocates and friends of Musana’s work, and for participants to discover how God would like to use them around the world. This is not a typical missions trip where participants roll up their sleeves to do the hard work for others. Your role is a learner, an ambassador and an encourager.

This trip is an opportunity to develop relationships of encouragement, support, curiosity, and fun with national believers working alongside Uncharted’s church planting initiatives, as well as the faith communities they integrate with and support. The team will have a multi-faceted experience, discovering various cultural and social aspects of Serbia and how they impact the outreach of the local church, all while learning more about Uncharted’s pioneering work in some of the most unreached and overlooked places in the world. The Medical Dental trip is designed for those who want to build relationships and see what happens when others are empowered to do things for themselves. It is an opportunity to travel to Uganda with a team to experience Musana’s model firsthand and see how Musana is empowering communities to thrive! Participants will visit Musana’s schools, hospitals, and economic development projects to learn, observe and encourage local change-makers. Participants will also engage in screening vitals and educating people on preventative care. While participants will bring their medical expertise to a cross-cultural setting, emphasis is placed on empowering and encouraging local leaders in their knowledge and provision of care and supporting Musana in their work in the local community rather than providing primary care. Participants have an opportunity to begin to discover how God would like to use them around the world and how they might bring lessons from international medicine to their practice at home, all while becoming Musana’s advocates and friends. You'll put discipleship into practice, not just study it, learning Globalscope's model by living it out day to day. Along the way, you'll get an honest look at what ministry requires in post-Christian Europe, where conversations about faith often start from a very different place than they do here. Come with a heart for discipleship, ready to offer it and to receive it. Expect to encourage and be encouraged, to challenge and be challenged, to teach and to learn, and to have a lot of fun with the people you're serving beside. You'll come home with a clearer sense of the part every believer plays in what God is doing globally.

This trip gives Flatirons students a firsthand look at church planting in an international context by serving alongside local ministry leaders and engaging with the community. Participants will help support outreach efforts through activities such as sports camps, games, crafts, and other programs that build relationships with children, youth, and families. Through these experiences, students will gain a deeper understanding of cross-cultural ministry, discipleship, and the opportunities and challenges of church planting while growing in their faith, broadening their global perspective, and seeing how God is at work around the world.

This trip is an opportunity to support Globalscope’s La Ruta Team in community, developing relationships with Globalscope staff and the students they serve on the college campuses in Montevideo.
